I'm an artist. I live with my wife and son in a grimy corner of the American Midwest, Indianapolis, Indiana to be specific, which returns to life in the spring, summer, and fall, but lies fallow and barren in the harsh winter months. We had two beloved dogs, labradors, who passed away. Even though we'll never be able to replace them we're thinking about a new dog, or dogs, and maybe even a cat.
